Picture Day

Please find attached the schedule for the picture day previously announced on the website for Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Fletcher Park.

From what I could see I do not think that there are any conflicts in the scheduling but I am unaware of make-up games and the Junior post-seeding schedule has not come out nor has the Junior Mens AA.

We have a tremendous amount of players and teams this year; latest count was 302 players and 29 teams.  This I believe is a record amount for this League.  No wonder I have thought that this year was tougher to get off the ground than in the past!  Therefore I would ask for everyones co-operation in making these times work.  If all coaches could have there team there about 10 - 15 minutes prior to their scheduled 10 minute picture session that would help to speed things through.  It is not fair and is inconsiderate to those who show up ready on time and have to wait for late or unorganized groups in front of them.  Please ensure that there are enough adults to control the teams and to provide player and team information to the photographers.

Thankyou, and I am sure that it will go as smooth as it seemed last year.

Regards,

Rob Layher

Uniform Night: Uniforms, helmets, warm up jackets to be distributed April 21st. at Ralph McCall school in the common area. 6 to 8 P.M. More.....

This will be just the pin stripe uniforms for the Interlock teams,Juniors,Seniors and Big league. If you have players that did not check the box on the registration form for a helmet and they would like to purchase one please ask them to bring a check in the amount of $15:00.This is easier to keep track of.

Also have all coaches from all age groups to show up and get there golf shirt and "A" hat.Directors please make sure all your coaches are aware of this night.

I would like for at least 1 coach from each team be there to deal with there players in the selection of there uniform. Please be there early so there is ample time to set up the area.I could also use some help getting this stuff into the building.Remind players that we have ordered BLACK socks through East Lake Sports and they can purchase them there at a cost of $6:00 a pair when you tell them you are with Airdrie Little League Baseball.
